An espresso is made by placing a filter holder of freshly ground coffee beans into the group head of the mahine. The machine then uses a pressurised boiler to force hot water through the freshly ground coffee and this produces an espresso.  | These machines use a method for Brewing coffee which involves pouring water over roasted ground coffee beans contained in a filter. Water drips slowly through a basket which houses a paper filter and the ground coffee. Liquid coffee then infuses into either a glass or stanless steel decanter which can be kept hot, using the hot plates on the machine.
